First Flight around the corner

Thanks to those who made the Moonspeed preview party. The food was marvelous and the pinball playing competed with the live show for the highlight of the evening.

The public debut of Moonspeed is just around the corner - Saturday, June 28th @ the Hi-Dive.

I passed on my deejaying responsibilities to DJ Eddie Dugan (bassist for Moccasin) since I've recently jumped on as the eleventh member of Moonspeed.

Walking on the moon...

With Moonspeed's Jeff Suthers.

I took some time out to sit in on a Moonspeed practice and have a few words with the bands leader, Jeff Suthers. We talked about new directions and the advantages of playing in Denver.

I'll be posting the interview in full on the Rock Mountain Music Blog later this week.

Also, Jeff and I will be guest hosting Starlight Motel on Radio 1190 on June 27th. Moonspeed will be playing their first show the following night, Friday, Jun28th, at the Hi-Dive. The Wheel will be opening the show.
