What's New in Store This Week...

Adam Sikorski dropped off some new prints this week including a new cloud design on the women's side, a new Coloradical design on the men's side and the new "Never Buy Drugs From a Penguin"on both the men's and women's sides. 





Also new in store this week are a restock of the Cheddar Pocket wallets we carried last Fall specifically the "Brian" style. These slim, leather wallets come to us from Australia. 


Ryn Rina is a new line of eco-friendly, felt accessories that we picked up at the Vegas trade shows. These lovely handcrafted bags and clutches are made in Los Angeles from felt constructed of 100% recycled plastic bottles. 


Brandy Gee from Fig & Yarrow restocked some of your favorites this week and brought in a few new items including the "Woods" and "Meadow" Bath & Body Oils and some "Sweet Grass" atmosphere spray.  




New laser cut earrings from Mukee are now in stock. These beauties are made from 100% recycled skate decks. 




Local designers Sepal Chicks dropped of some of their screen printed fabric earrings. These statement pieces feature natural designs and some are enhanced with hand embroidered detail.

What's New in Store This Week...

Have you been in to see our new jewelry cases yet? If not you're missing out cause we've doubled the amount of jewelry on the floor thanks to these new cases from Fin Art. 


Here's a run down of some the new jewelry filling our cases. First up is local line Winter Garden Studios with these lovely sterling silver hand stamped pendants which would make the perfect present. 


Austin based line Ornamental Things sent some new designs our way which are complemented in the pictures below by a new Boulder based line Maranon. Maranon is a line of hand embroidered accessories with beautiful attention to detail.






Also new in store is Plastique, a Los Angeles based line focusing on laser cut acrylic jewelry. Check out their interchangeable earrings and necklaces in store now. 



Next up is Vivi Dot, a Seattle based line of handmade button inspired jewelry. Check out their necklaces, watch pendants and money clips. 




We are pleased to welcome Chicago based jewelry designer Laura Lombardi to our store. This small collection of jewelry is handmade from carefully selected vintage and repurposed materials.  




Moving over the men's section, we've gotten in some new short sleeve button ups for the Spring from Palmer Cash and Farah




Turning our focus to the women's side, we've gotten in some new screen printed tank tops from local in house line Black Diamonds


Spring is here and you can tell by the dresses. Check out these new light weight dress designs from Gentle Fawn and Tulle



Last but certainly not least are the staple skinny belts from Cheap Monday. This is a basic any woman needs for her wardrobe.

Fancy Focus: This Weekend!

There are a lot of amazing things going on in the greater Denver area this weekend and we wanted to pass along a few suggestions of the dance/design variety if you haven't already figured out what you are doing...




First up is Fancy Tiger Clothing's own Matthew Brown a.k.a. DJ Fancy Tiger, who will be spinning dance beats with Tyler Snow and Patrick Collins this evening, Friday April 8th at Lost Lake starting around 9pm. 




Next up is the Beauty Bar with their Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted animation shorts. You can check out this two hour showing of dark comedy animated shorts Friday April 8th from 8pm-10pm and Saturday April 9th from 8pm-10pm. This event is free for everyone age 21 and up. 




Also be sure to stick around Beauty Bar Saturday April 9th for Double Shadow starting at 10pm until close. Double Shadow is a monthly darkwave dance party hosted by local creatives James Yardley and James Cromwell Holden. Get your dance on!




Speaking of getting your dance on, if you haven't checked out Denver's hottest Electro / Pop / Synth / Hop / Cosmic / Wave / Tronic dance party, Neon Knights don't miss it. Local DJ Shannon von Kelly hosts this monthly dance night at the Meadowlark and this month it falls on Friday April 8th at 9pm until close. 




If you want to check out what's going on with the Denver design scene stop by the opening of the new I Heart Denver Pop-Up Store Saturday April 9th from 6pm-9pm at 500 16th Street, located on the 2nd level of the Pavilions. This is another creative endeavor for local artist and 15min creator Samuel Schimek that creates a space for local designers to market their goods to the public. 70% off all sales goes back to the designer so get out and support our local designers. 




For those of you in the Boulder area don't miss out on the Firefly Handmade Market as part of the  Makerie at the Chautauqua Community House. This handmade market will be happening Saturday April 9th from 7pm-10pm and Sunday April 10th from 10am-3pm. Check out the work of 60 plus indie crafters. 




While you're at it Fancy Tiger Crafts will be opening a one-weekend only pop-up store in cottage 302 at Chautauqua in conjunction with the Makerie retreat. The store will be open to the public so you can shop their curated selection of yarns, kits, books, fabrics and fiber. The Fancy Tiger Crafts Pop-Up Store will be open Friday, April 8th, 11am - 6pm, Saturday, April 9th, 11am - 4pm and 7 - 10pm and Sunday, April 10th, 10am - 3pm.

What's New in Store This Week...

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our jewelry selection. Stop by this week to see our new jewelry cases custom built by Fin Art and the new jewelry filling them. This week we've received a restock from Portland based jewelry designer Betsy and Iya




We've also received some new designs from local jewelry designer Sam Spitzer of Junk Heart Jewelry. These new banner necklaces are adorned with phrases like "billet doux" (a small love note), "Veni Vidi Vinci" (I came, I saw, I conquered), "Affable" and "In Stitches."






Local designer Roxann of Paisley Bird also has some classic designs adorning our new jewelry displays. Stop in and check out these nature inspired fused glass pendants. 




Carrying on the theme of local is Sarah of Heavy Nesting. Primarily a bag designer, Sarah has ventured into jewelry, utilizing fabric scraps to create button bracelets in a variety of styles. 




We also received a restock of Jared's Cuffs. These locally made recycled leather, reversible cuffs are a great unisex accessory for anyone. 



Our Fancy Finds collection has grown from just bags to accessories. Each week we scour second hand shops, estate sales and the like for quality bags and accessories to mix in a little vintage into our selections. Check out these belt buckles new in store this week. 


Moving out of accessories and into clothing, we've gotten in new Spring basics from Alternative Apparel, including this simple jersey dress. 



Next up is local clothing designer Jil Cappucio. Jil was in this week with great new handmade cap sleeve t-shirts and dresses for the Spring. 




Gentle Fawn is the newest women's line to be added into our clothing rotation. This line started though a mutual love of thrifting, more specifically a collection of rare, vintage fawns. Check out their clean, modern designs now in store.



We've also gotten in some new Spring tops from L.A. based line Tulle. Check out the cute button detail on the back. 



Also new is store this week are the Hello Sailor Dresses from the North Carolina, handmade line, Just Like Honey. This line focuses on reusing vintage and up-cycled fabrics to create new fashions. 



Rounding things out on the men's side are basics from Urban Behavior. These short sleeved, collared shirts pair perfecting with a pair of suspenders.
